The Association of Psychology Undergraduates (APU) is a student group that formed to serve students who are interested in Psychology. Its primary goal is to facilitate interaction between students and staff and provide students with a sense of belonging to the department. Additional goals are to assist with the transition into the major, provide awareness of opportunities within the department, and serve as a means for students to become involved with the department.

APU holds lots of different kinds of events- social, academic, career- so there is something for everyone! If you’re new to psychology and need some guidance, or you’re a seasoned major and want to share your wisdom, you are welcome to join us at any time during the year.

Here are a few of the events APU members can participate in:

  • Professor Dinners
  • Research Panels
  • Career/Graduate School Panels
  • Social Events (including collaborative socials with Psi Chi)
  • And many more!
